The Things We Need

My wife was trying to explain what katzenzungen (cats' tongues) was; a chocolate treat in Germany made from chocolate molded in the shape of... You get the idea. 

She knows I am a cat lover, so she brought me a box of... You get the idea. 

In NYC, on that very same trip, she found one of the molds used for katzenzungen!

I like to think of art and inspiration happening just like that. The urge, then the things that come when we need them most.
