Sometimes that works, sometimes not. I have an abundance of ideas and sketches, but there's the real world and the tasks around the house that pile up during the week.
How does one switch back and forth to work life and artist or writer life. I think my art is a switch that doesn't like being switched on and off. I think in doing so, I'm turning my art into a hobby, a craft. Not to put down my work, I've been coming up with decent pieces.
Is there a compromise for the artist or writer who holds down a job for primary income?
